Southwestern Randolph Middle School Expecting Excellence Without Exception
Southwestern Randolph Middle School, situated in the shadow of the Uwharrie Mountains, was opened in the Fall of 1990 for area sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students.The first year's enrollment was approximately 725. Our student population steadily grew each school year which prompted the opening of Uwharrie Middle School in 2002. Our current enrollment is a little over 500 students. Two "feeder" schools, Seagrove Elementary and Southmont Elementary, prepare Southwestern area students for the adventure and challenges of middle school.
Mission Statement The Mission of Southwestern Randolph Middle School is to develop globally aware, future ready graduates by promoting collaboration, innovative/critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
